Hindi Diwas is celebrated on the 14th of September every year to honour the 3rd most spoken language in the world.
Hindi is a language where we can express ourselves at our best and confidently. The Hindi Language gives a feeling of oneness and closeness to everyone. This provides us with the impact of how we can express our feelings best in our mother tongue without being hesitant.
हिन्दी शब्दों 'अच्छा', 'बड़ा दिन', 'बच्चा', 'सूर्य नमस्कार' और यहा तक कि संविधान और आत्मनिर्भर जैसे शब्दों को भी ऑक्सफर्ड डिक्शनरी में शामिल किया गया है।
The language comes from ancient languages like Sanskrit, which gives it a dignified position in the world. Mahatma Gandhi named Hindi a "language of unity".
हिन्दी की खास बात यह है कि इसमें जिस शब्द को जिस तरह से उच्चारित किया जाता है, उसी तरह लिखा भी जाता है।
We know how the importance of Hindi is degrading as the generation is upgrading and getting modern. You must have seen mothers scolding their kids to speak English and conversating with them in English. True, isn't it? Yes! Nobody would ever know the value of Hindi, what it used to be for ages.
Hindi day holds a prominent role in the creation of India's history. It was only a language, but it still helped India to gain unity and individuality in international aspects.
Even instead of discouraging people who are well-versed in Hindi and mocking them for not being frank in English, everybody should respect and encourage them. It became the official language of the Union of India in 1950. Under Article 343, the Constitution of India named it 'Devanagari Script'. It has 120 languages, 14 vowels, 33 consonants, and 43 characters.
Devanagari is as important as the language of English. Giving our mother tongue a preference is another way of respecting it.

People follow Indian culture and tradition worldwide by worshipping Indian gods and enchanting shlokas in Hindi.
And foreigners' keen interest in learning is another proud moment for our mother tongue.
Hindi has a sophisticated accent making it one prestigious spoken language that lingers through hearts, even internationally.
More people in India today have excelled in other languages, and only a few gems of Hindi writers and speakers are left today. To promote India in the world today, we must acknowledge Hindi and the identity of India it creates in the world.
India's identity is the Hindi language. Feel privileged and proud that you are from the era you learnt Hindi, your mother tongue. Let's start from within you and make Hindi more comfortable around you. And do not be hesitant about speaking Hindi, as many can converse in English, but only a few know the essence of our national language.
